Women Faculty Brown Bag Discussion

The Women's Center will be hosting a Faculty Women Brown Bag Discussion on Friday, November 4 from 2pm until 3pm, in 112 Eielson Building. The topic of the discussion is "Having It All (And Feeling Good About It!)". Distance participation via computer is available. This event is co-sponsored by the Faculty Senate Committee on the Status of Women and the Women's Center. For more information, please contact Kayt Sunwood at 474-6311. 

UWA Holiday Bazaar

The holiday season is just around the corner. That means that it is time for the annual UWA Holiday Bazaar.  

November 5 & 6 10:00am - 4:00pm 

in the UAF Wood Center

The University Women’s Association’s 43rd annual Holiday Bazaar provides a retail outlet for Alaskan craftspeople who have limited opportunities to sell their products.  Vendors are limited to selling locally made, hand-crafted items either of their own making or merchandise that exhibits artistic and/or creative modification of purchased or collected items.  Books, photographs and audio or visual materials are considered acceptable crafts only if the author or the artist is the vendor.
