Free concert / donations will support Tohoku University, Sendai Japan
All music composed by Etsuko Kimura Pederson (Fairbanks composer &pianist, and UAF Alumna.)
Pianists: Etsuko Kimura Pederson and Paul Krejci.
All music is based on Etsuko’s life experience in Alaska.
UAF and Tohoku University are Partner Universities. This partnership celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2010. Etsuko and Paul performed a UAF Friendship Concert at Tohoku University in May 2010. On March 11th 2011, the earthquake and tsunami in Japan severely damaged Tohoku University. Donations at this concert, and sales of Etsuko Kimura Pederson's Modern Music for Two Pianos CD will benefit Tohoku University.
