"Wordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like. You can print them out, or save them to the Wordle gallery to share with your friends."

Monday

REALLY FREE MARKET

The University of Alaska Fairbanks will host the second Really FREE Market of the summer.

Date: Aug 14

Time: 10am - 1pm

Venue: Nenana Parking Lot (across from the Patty Center - UAF)

The market is a good opportunity to share clothes and other back-to-school items with local families before the school year begins. Please encourage your family and friends to consider participating.

Drop off clean, safe, usable items between 8-10 a.m. the day of the market. The earlier items are dropped off, the more time our volunteers will have to organize them. Look for clearly marked signs for drop off lanes. Volunteers will help you unload your items.

Come back from 10 a.m. to 1:00 pm to browse the FREE "treasures" ... take what you can use, PLUS enjoy FREE music by Alaskalina and Almost a Minyan.

We need volunteers to help with the market. Please contact Lydia Anderson at 474-7037 if you are interested in helping out with this fun event.
