Participants in the program gain work experience and explore many different opportunities within the National Parks Service. Women and Politics - Enroll now while there are still seats available

What a perfect time to take a class that examines the relevance of gender in political thought and action, coming off an election where gender, race, class, ethnicity and other demographic categories came together to elect the most diverse congress in US history.

 Here is the course description:

In-depth examination of the relevance of gender in political thought and action. Topics vary and may include: an historical perspective of political ideas on the nature and status of women; women's involvement in national and/or international political movements and organizations; feminist approaches to the social sciences; feminism as a political ideology.
