Our B-word dialogues event scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 14th has been POSTPONED to a not yet determined date due to the weather conditions in Fairbanks and the surrounding areas.

Students from Communication,
Psychology, Sociology, Women's & Gender Studies, and additional disciplines
will bring what they are learning in their classes to this discussion about
whether words like bitch and pussy have been or can be claimed, reclaimed and/or
re-purposed; whether such words are appropriate to use in any context; whether
there are parameters around when, by, and with whom such words can be
used.
