Students from Communication, Psychology, Sociology, Women's & Gender Studies, and additional disciplines will bring what they are learning in their classes to this discussion about whether words like bitch and pussy have been or can be claimed, reclaimed and/or re-purposed; whether such words are appropriate to use in any context; whether there are parameters around when, by, and with whom such words can be used. 
Join the dialogue as students bring these questions and more to the Multi-Level Lounge in the Wood Center.

Don’t Call Me a B-: Empowerment + Civility Every Day of Every Month

Interactive opportunity for all who are committed to social justice & advocacy to explore tools for creating equity on campus, & in the world.

Using song, storytelling, and multimedia activities, Traciana underscores why the month of March is dedicated to unsung heroines who used their voices to create a more tolerant, equitable society all. Together, we will explore how we all can benefit from, and continue the work of sung & unsung visionaries, 
 every day of every month. No need to wait until March!
